Hong Kong International Jewellery Show 2009
4-8 March 2009

It's the perfect setting for Asia's major jewellery event - the multi-faceted HKTDC Hong Kong International Jewellery Show 2009 is the place to be for anyone in the jewellery industry who wants their business to dazzle. This five-day event, which is ranked one of the top three in the world, is the perfect platform to source the latest products and forge fresh relationships.

The track record of this well-established fair is proven. The 2008 event attracted more than 31,000 buyers, coming from 135 countries and regions, drawn by the quality and numbers of exhibitors. A total of 2,306 companies from 45 countries and regions exhibited at the fair. The set up encompassed 22 group pavilions - the largest number in the history of the fair - including representatives of respected industry associations, such as the Antwerp World Diamond Centre, International Colored Gemstone Association, Israel Diamond Institute, Japan Jewellery Association, Japan Jewellery Designers Association, Japan Pearl Exporters' Association, Japan Yamanashi Crystal Jewellery Association and the Platinum Guild International.

Each staging of the event builds on this foundation - and the 2009 event will be no different. Among the new initiatives that will surely attract plenty of attention is the establishment of the Treasury of Carving Zone, which is a show window for carved exhibits of jadeite, precious and semi-precious gemstones, coral, amber and precious metals including gold and silver. Hall of Fame is another new section, devoted to esteemed international brand names known for their creativity and quality.

Two important auctions: the Paspaley Pearl Auction and Robert Wan Tahiti Perles Auction will be held concurrently during the show.
